He is survived by: his wife Catherin Elaine Austin Johnson; his sons, Douglas Johnson (Bridgett) and Robert Johnson (Sabrina); his grandson Ryan Johnson (Hannah) of Council, Virginia; and his siblings, Jane Cook, Ruth Ann Sykes (Doug), Bobby Johnson (Teresa) of Glade Springs, Virginia, Junior Trent (Susie) of Glade Springs, Virginia and Poppy Harold Trent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
