She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Helton and Ideal Hannah Helton; her husband Newlyn Baker Barrett; her grandson-in-law Tony Gagliardo; and her siblings, Hubert Helton, Hershel Helton, Anna James Harless, Betty Barrett, Jeanette Bita and Henry Edward Helton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renae Barrett and Susan Gezymalla (Mark); and her grandchildren, Cindy Witt (Coy), Amanda Metcalf (John), Scott Schneider (Shana), Melissa Gagliardo, Julie Murphy (Michael) and Tori Knechtel (Jacob). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and her church family.
