She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Deaton and Goldie Compton; her siblings, Larry Compton, Bobby Compton, Wayne Compton, Betty Snead and Carol Ann Compton; and her sibling-in-law Kessel Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Elden Miller; her siblings, Barbara (Bruce Baldwin), Rita, JD Jessee of Lebanon, Brenda (Ronnie Hale), Louie Compton of Richlands, Ronnie Compton of Honaker, Stan (Teresa Compton), Frank Compton (Debra), Don Compton of Richlands, Gary Compton of Swords Creek, Barry Compton of Honaker and Roger Compton (Gail); her siblings-in-law, Eugene (Joyce Miller), William (Debbie Miller), Bobby Randall (Stella Miller) and Sharon Miller Hale of Lebanon; her stepchildren, Eddie Miller of Lynn Springs, Doug Miller of Ohio, Danny Miller of Bristol and Missy Fogerty of Bristol, Virginia; her nieces and nephews, Timothy Compton, Angela Compton, Robbie Compton, Jason Musick, Brian Compton, Brittany Compton Hall, Hope Cisneros, Danielle Cisneros and Deaton Compton; Sissy. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
