Garland Shepard Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland Shepard of Honaker, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Shepard and Audrey Honaker Shepard; his brother Grant Shepard; and his grandson Dawson Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyce Shepard; his children, Tammy Shepard, Rebecca Deskins (Tommy) and Matthew Shepard (Brittany); his siblings, Larry Shepard (Lucy), Carolyn Harrison (Eddie) and Donna Shepard; his sister-in-law Phyllis Shepard; his grandchildren, Zachary Shepard, Caeleigh Shepard, Destiny Shepard, Joshua Deskins and Hannahlee Deskins; and his great grandchildren, Grayson and Paisley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
