He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Wells and Evelyn Compton Wells; his wife Edith Whited Wells; his daughter Elisha Carol Wells; and his siblings, Mary Jackson, Bobby Wells, Betty Wells, Wade Wells, Ronnie Wells, Wayne Wells and Joe Wells.
He is survived by: his son Randy Wells (Missy); his grandchildren, Joshua Lee Wells, Aleah Carol Wells and Grace Leann Wells; his great grandchildren, Arabellah, Elizabeth, Hailey, Adrian and Victoria; and his siblings, Jimmy Wells (Anna) and Phyllis Peck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
