He is survived by: his granddaughter Natalie Ailer; his great grandchild Autum Edson; his great great grandchild Everlyn Ball; his sister Shelia Smith; his nephew Randy Vernon (Laura); his great-niece Baleigh Vernon; his brother Russell Lee Herndon; and his pet Miss Daisy.
