She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ira and Electa Arla Jackson Hale; her former husband William Edward Compton; her husband Charles Franklin Wolfe; her sons, Glenn Edward Compton and Darrell Compton; and her siblings, Carl Hale, Curtis Hale, Logan Hale, Lowell Hale, Harold Hale, Geneva Mullins and Virginia Hale.
She is survived by: her son Paul William Compton (Arlene) of Council, Virginia; her grandchildren, Edward Lewis Compton of Virginia Beach, Charles Bryan Compton of Virginia Beach, Preston Wayne Compton of Kingsport and Ann Marie Compton of Council, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Glenn Jace Compton, Zachary Jaren Mitchell and Charles Jameson Mitchell of Council, Virginia; her stepchildren, Steve Wolfe, Craig Wolfe, Laurel Lynn Harmon, Kris Reppert and Lisa Myerson; and her siblings-in-law, Kent Wolfe, Irene Compton and Dororthy Hale. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.
