He was predeceased by : his parents, Kirby Allen "Johnny" and Loretta Ann Johnson Smith; his brother Allen Smith; and his grandparents, Roy, Hazel Johnson, Carson and Dixie Smith.
He is survived by : his sons, Jerry Allen Smith and Cameron Blake Houston; his sister Ruth Ann Ball (David); his uncles, C. A. Smith and Roger Johnson; his aunt Sue Shortridge; his nephews, Kody Smith and Austin Ball; his niece Tiffany Smith (Justin Baldwin); his great-nephews, Levi Allen Baldwin and Hudson Colt Baldwin; his close friend Judy "Sis" Honaker; his sister-in-law Mary Smith (David Street); and his cousins, Johnny Coxton, Missy Rogich, Donna Deskins and Dolores Brown.
