She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Lockhart and Mary Lockhart (Osborne); her husband Cecil Thomas; and her siblings, Donald Lockhart, Roosevelt Lockhart, James Lockhart, Verlin Lockhart, Burton Lockhart, Jackie Lockhart and Delores Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Thomas Musick (Roger) of Honaker, VA and Billy Thomas (Shawtaya) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Autumn Musick, Katelyn Musick, Roger Musick III, Alyssa Thomas, Kolson Thomas, Adelei Thomas and Madelyn Thomas; and her brothers, Joshua Lockhart (Pauline) of Vansant, VA and William Lockhart of Vansant, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Greenhills Memory Gardens.
