We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 88, Ola Sandy Dotson (Honaker, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Mont Elden; her former life partner Luther Ray; her husband Luther Dotson; her son-in-law Carl Wayne Dorton; and her siblings, Justin Jones "Doug" McGlothlin, Ritter Mack McGlothlin, Velvie Marie Shortridge, Elsie Mae Harris and Mary Irene Hess.

She is survived by : her children, David Allen (Henrietta Ray) and Patricia Ellen "Patty" Dorton; her grandchildren, Amanda Ellen Dorton of Vansant and Byron Joseph (Jennifer Renea Dorton); and her sister Ora Mattie Meadows of Rowe, Virginia.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
