He is survived by: his wife Nellie Wyona Sheppard; his children, Otis Edward Sheppard (Summer Canady), Lora Lynn Sheppard and Samantha Nicole Sheppard Hess (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Dustin Alan Sheppard (Ann Marie Duty), Angela Danielle Sheppard (Adam Ray), Kevin Walker Sheppard (Cheyenne Barton), Travis Tyler Sheppard and Blake Edo Sheppard (Abby Hess); and his siblings, Mildred Honaker, Needem Sheppard and Ernest "Duke" Sheppard. He is also survived by great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
