She was predeceased by: her father Cecil Viers; her husband Wayne Newberry; her aunt Margaret Hale; and her uncles, Truel Corns and Harlen Corns.
She is survived by: her mother Ellen Corns Carello; her caregiver Robert Fields; her children, Justin Newberry, Whitney Newberry (Sam Vandyke) and Lyndsey Newberry (T. J. Hale); her grandson Sevan Wells; her brother Alan Viers; her stepsisters, Carolyn Davis, Diane Mitchell and Patty Glasson; and her aunts, Martha Womack and Diana Corns. She is also survived by several cousins, along with six sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
