He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Gaylord and Hazel Marie Harris Lester; his brother Roscoe David Lester; his brothers-in-law, Larry Honaker and Gerald Ray; and his close friends, Bill and Von Heath.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Lester; his children, Andrea Leigh Carr (Adam) of Limestone, Jason Randall Lester of Prosperity and Nina Marie Lester (Jason Fletcher) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Lilly Carr, Lawson Carr and Kennedy Fletcher; his siblings, Chloe "Midge" Honaker of Belfast, Pam Dye (Chester) of Honaker, Virginia, Terri Ray of Honaker, Virginia, Jerry Lester (Becky) of Honaker, Benny Lester (Missy) of Drill, Virginia, Curtis Lester (Missy) of Drill, Virginia and Taulbee Lester (Missy) of Drill, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Cheyenne and Debbie Harris; his aunt Nina; and his uncle Thurston Meade. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
