He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Mary Magdalene Breedlove Dye; his nephew Brad J. Dye; his grandparents, Charles and Minnie Breedlove; and his father-in-law Elmer Jack Deel.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Dye; his children, Randy Lee "Joey" Dye, Jr. (Sherry) of Honaker, Virginia and Kim Honaker (Dennis) of Honaker, Virginia; his grandchildren, Haylee Dye, Jaxon Dye, Sommer Honaker and Kaden Honaker; his siblings, Boone Dye (Vicky), Delilah Breedlove, Donna Cyphers and Scottie Dye; his mother-in-law Laura Deel; and his pet Dixie.
