He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Belle Ball Cook; his granddaughter Santanna Wilson; his great grandchild Easton Wilson; his siblings, William "George" Ball, Eula Mae "Sis" Ball, Betty Shortridge and Ruby Keller; his brother-in-law Ronnie Rasnake; and his niece Jessica Shortridge.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilson; his children, Destiny (Tristan Shinkle), Jamey Perkins (Terri) and Darrell Wilson; his daughter-in-law Samantha Wilson; his grandchildren, Walker Perkins, Gabriel, Sara Perkins, Madison, Jason Medley, Trenton Wilson, Evan Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Blake Wilson, Rebel Wilson and Bryson Wilson; his great grandchildren, Hudson Shinkle, Willow Perkins, River Perkins, Greyson Wilson and Kaison DeWitt; his brother Robbie Cook; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Rasnake, Barbara Ball and Ernie Ray (Patricia); and his pets, Nila and Roxie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
