It is with sadness that the passing of William Maxfield of Honaker, Virginia is shared. William, born on August 28, 1961, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert and Darlis Wilson Maxfield; his former wife Carol Ann Maxfield; and his sister Teresa Hess. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Maxfield; his children, Crystal Baker (John), Billy Maxfield (Reina), Jason Hardy, Dominique Hardy (Chad), Danielle Green (Josh) and Jordan Hardy (Eden); his grandchildren, Elijah, Kolton, Persphone of Gabby, KK, Charli, Moses, Mikylah, Liam, Caden, Tara, Theodore and Ezra; his siblings, Jeff Maxfield (Melanie) and Delores Murphy (Mark); and his caregiver Sharon Akerman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
