He was predeceased by: his father Billy Roger Boyd; and his grandparents, Charlie, Ollie Boyd, Ervin and Beulah Penley.
He is survived by: his mother Eura Catherine Penley Boyd of Honaker; his siblings, Pam Fields (Jeff) of Lebanon, Chris Boyd, Jonathan Boyd (Jennifer) of Lebanon and Jennifer Short (Bubby) of Honaker; his nephews, Hunter Short (Amber), Dawson Short and Derek Fields; and his great-nephew Clyde Short. He is also survived by many friends and co-workers.
