He is survived by: his wife Julia R. Bennett; his sons, Joseph L. Bennett, Jr. (Avis) of Prince George, VA and Elton A. Bennett, Sr. (Sandra) of Prince George, VA; his grandchildren, Erica Bennett of Joseph Bennett, III, Angela Bennett, Elton Bennett, Jr. and April Bennett; his great grandchildren, Aeriana Bennett, Greg Bullock, Amari Bullock, Amaya Bennett, Raheem Butcher, Jr., Katja Williams, Alese Bullock and Janiah Bennett; his siblings, Gertrude McKeathern (James), Shirley B. Kirton, Margaret C. Meade (George), Claude Sr. (Rose), Willie (Glorious) and Freddie Bennett (Colleen); his sisters-in-law, Marie Bennett, Hazel Randall and Nellie Randall; his godson Jack Robinson; and his uncle J. S. Bennett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
