He is survived by: his sons, JaColbi Johnson and Joseph McCoy Spence III; his fiancée Elaine Johnson-Macon; his siblings, Cynthia Spence Griffin (late Lemuel), Demetria Lang (James Jr) and Reynold Spence (Jakolyn); and his aunts and uncles, Hiram Godwin, Sr., Earl White, Jr., Lois Godwin White and Rose Spence (late Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
