He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Richard F. Denius and Marjorie Rickey Denius. He is survived by : his wife Nora (Josie); his siblings, Blaine (Anita) of Winterville, NC, Roger (Angela) of Lenoir, NC and LaVonne Brown (Steve) of Lee, Massachusetts.; his children, Cheryl Vess (Steve), Rhonda Ervin, Sandra Denius Pichette, Lori Ledford (Merle) and John Denius (Lisha); his friend Dallas Reynolds; and his brother-in-law C. J. Nicely. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
