With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertie Mae Spradlin Goode of Huddleston, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Carlton Spradlin, Sr. and Juanita Sink Spradlin; her husband Maurice B. "Benny" Goode; her brother Clyde C. Spradlin, Jr.; and her grandson Joshua Goode.
She is survived by: her children, Mark B. Goode (Susan), Todd C. Goode (Kim) and Nancy Goode Spencer (Mike); her grandchildren, Zachary Goode (Jeremy Madrid), Caleb Goode (Julia), Rachel Spencer (Max Deitchler), Isaac Goode (Kat), Clay Goode, Sarah Higel (Jeff), Kristin Carroll (Ryan), Hannah Goode and Casey Calilung; her granddaughter-in-law Robyne Lorek; and her sister Jean Bowyer. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
