She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wharton and Mamie Kendrick Goode; and her husband Eugene "Oscar" Ray Hackworth. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Goad (Keith) and Annette Saunders (Ray); her grandsons, Caleb Brown and Connor Goad; her great grandchild Emily Mae Brown; her cousins, Cathey Bays, Richard, Linda Goode and Melinda Nichols; her caregivers, Yolanda (Yoyo), April, Megan and Tracy; Jennifer, Thyra, Angel, Shana, Megan and Molly.
