She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubbert Scarberry and Sylphia Thacker Scarberry; and her husband Teddy Daniels Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Deanna Sue Estep (Greg) of Hurley, VA; her grandson Caleb Wade Estep of Hurley, VA; her brother Gary Scarberry; her grandfathers, Larry Scarberry (Mary) of Hurley, VA, Ron Scarberry (Debbie) of Davin, WV, Jerry Scarberry (Martha) of Grundy, VA and Joe Scarberry (Cara Lee) of Tazewell, VA; her sisters, Allene Collins (Bobby) of Kimper, KY and Roberta Justus; and her caregiver Sharon Dotson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Union Light Freewill Baptist Church (16085 Hurley Rd, Hurley, VA 24620). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM, on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park (32350 Riverside Dr, Big Rock, VA 24603).
