She was predeceased by: her parent Josie Pruitt Fain; her former husband Earney Dotson; her husband Bruce Dotson; her stepchildren, Jerry Dotson and Lucille Charles; her grandchildren, Chris Dotson, Justin Dotson and Beth Spencer; her great grandchild Damon Blankenship; her great great grandchild Steven Jett Hagy; her children-in-law, Jerry, Troy Scarberry, Jerri Cantrell Dotson and Bette Little Dotson; and her sister Phyllis Quillen.
She is survived by: her sister Meg Blankenship; her children, Steve Dotson (Melissa), Richard Dotson (Terri), Wilburn Dotson (Rita), Jeff Dotson (Joey), Sandra Kay Scarberry (Roy), Beverly Spencer (Chuck), Sherry Colley and Mert Scarberry; and her stepdaughter Shirley Miller. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter on the way and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the New Beginning.
