It is with sadness that the passing of Grant Simpson of Hurt, Virginia is shared. Grant, born on April 8, 1971, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Grant will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his father Walter Stanley Simpson; and his grandparents, Glady L., Bessie F. Simpson, Richard N. and Beulah J. Wells.
He is survived by: his mother Judy W. Simpson; his sister Kelly S. Osborne (Scott); and his nephews, Dylan M. Osborne of Washington, D. C. and Brian S. Osborne (Courtney Hudson) of Chatham. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Altavista Church of Christ (1301 Avondale Dr, Altavista, VA 24517).
