Barksdale of Hurt, Virginia; his granddaughter Brielle Massey of Hurt, Virginia; his sisters, Jennifer "Kim" Walden of Hurt and Connie Carter (Jerry) of Gretna, Virginia; and his nieces and nephews, Chastity Farmer (Edward) of Hurt, Destiny Walden-Hall of Hurt, Virginia, Tremaine Carter (Mary) of El Paso and Courtney Carter (Mercedes) of San Diego, California. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
