She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Anthony; her stepfather James McDaniel; her husband Martel Tardy; and her children, Darrell Tardy and Drusilla Tardy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Daphne Jeter (Rick) of High Point and DaNette Tardy (Kelly) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Maranda Johnson of Greensboro, Rashonda Jeter of Greensboro and Michael Dennis of Richmond, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Nyla Johnson of Greensboro, Bryson Johnson of Greensboro and Kalani Covington of Greensboro; her brother William McDaniel (Brandy) of Gladys, Virginia; her brother-in-law Robert Tardy of Hurt, Virginia; and her sisters, Eudora Poindexter (Curtis), Celestine Andrews and Linda Austin (Kevin). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
