She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Arnold Betterton, Sr. and Mamie Roark Betterton; her husband Benjamin "Benny" Franklin Burnette; and her brother Butch Betterton. She is survived by: her children, Gwenith Barley of Hurt, Michael Burnette (Jeanette) of Gretna, Mickey Burnette (Monica) of Monterey and Matthew "Moose" Burnette (Kathy) of Hurt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
