He was predeceased by : his parents, Eulam Berry Arnold and Virginia Lena Hudson Arnold; his wife Carolyn Elaine Arnold; and his siblings, Sammy Arnold, David Arnold, Oliver Arnold, Vivian, Violet, Virginia and Kathy.

He is survived by : his children, Johnny Arnold (Chrissy), Roger Arnold (Brandy), Tracy Mattox (Misty), Warren Mattox (Alice) and Tammy Mattox (Randall). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church (1212 Grit Rd, Hurt, VA 24563). The military honors was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1212 Grit Road, Hurt, VA 24563.
