He is survived by: his children, James Carroll Montgomery (Renee) of Galax, VA and Sonya Marie Hash (David) of Galax, VA; his grandchildren, Tyler Hash (Lauren) of Galax, VA, Travis Hash (Jenna) of Galax, VA, Heather Montgomery of Woodlawn, VA, Cody Montgomery (Cristin) of Ennice, NC and Alese Hash (Coen) of Galax, VA; and his sister Myrtle Clodfelter of High Point, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 7 great grandchildren.
