She is survived by: her son Brandon Parsons (Beth) of Independence, VA; her stepgrandson Christopher McKinney of Independence, VA; and her siblings, Allen Wingate (Wanda) of Galax, VA, Junior Wingate (Susan) of Illinois and Brenda Ward of Advance, NC..
