She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Funk and Kate Vaught Funk; her husband Fred Jennings; and her children, Karen Sue and Curtis Jennings.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Ellen Jennings of Independence, VA; her daughter Sandra; her children-in-law, Bill Winters of Roanoke, VA and Barbara Jennings of Independence; her grandchildren, Will Winters (Elisabeth) of Bristol, VA and Shelley (Mark Carrico) of Independence, VA; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Mariam, William Winters of Bristol, VA, Tyler Carrico (Katherine) of Wytheville, VA and Adam Carrico (Marley) of Wytheville, VA; and her great great grandchildren, Addie, Belle Carrico and Sterling Carrico.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (307 Pleasant Grove Rd, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
