He is survived by: his mother Lawanda Phipps; his siblings, Shawanna Phipps Brown (Larry) of Sparta, NC and Kevin Mittman of Galax, VA.; his nieces, Nyah Allen (Garrison) of Sparta, NC and Taylor Allen (Ethan) of Sparta, NC; his nephew Keyshawn Phipps (Lucy) of Independence, VA; and his aunts and uncles, Randolph Phipps (Pauline) of Independence, VA, Lucinda Brown (Duncan) of Alto, GA, Nathilla McKinney of Independence, VA, Mickey Phipps, Rosemary Cox (Billy), Jennifer Bryan, Tammie Costello, Penny Frances and Thomas Goins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
