With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Spencer Richardson (Independence, Virginia), who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son-in-law George (Lowell); her husband Lowell Richardson; her daughters, Jennifer (Alan) of Sparta and Julie Burton (George) of Speedwell, Virginia; her grandchildren, Landon Dowell (Samantha) of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and Caitlin Dowell of Sparta; her great grandchild Adaline Dowell of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; her sister Freda Barker of Warrensville; her parents, John Troy Spencer and Helen Weaver Spencer; her siblings, Kenny Spencer and Pat Wyatt; and her siblings-in-law, John Barker and Geneva Spencer. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348).
