As Margaret Anne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margaret Anne. Though Margaret Anne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her parents, Christopher Patrick and Susan Frances Maunsell O'Connor; her siblings, Kathleen McDaniel (John T.) of Albany, Eileen O'Connor of Salem, Virginia, John O'Connor of Independence, Virginia and Chris O'Connor, Jr. (Abby Knowles) of Fort Worth, Texas; and her siblings' children, Julia McDaniel and Henry McDaniel of Albany.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Galax Presbyterian Church (200 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to your local Humane Society or animal shelter.
