It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Lee Hall of Independence, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Disa Sanders and Jay Sanders; her husband Wayne Hall; her sister Reba Caudell; and her son-in-law Kenneth Carr.

She is survived by : her children, Lizabeth (Bud Holdaway), Becky Felts of Galax, VA, Mandy Carr of Independence, Kay Billings of Independence and Charles Wayne Hall (Diane McGill); her grandchildren, Tammy (Randy Miller), Greg Busic of Independence, Brian (Sandy Busic), Molly Hall of New York, NY, Chad (Heather Reeves), Israel (Jennifer Carr), Lindsey (Randy Hampton) and Morgan (Phillip Adams); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Macen, Riley, Ben, Emily, Katie, Damie, Nathaniel, Caleb, Elijah, Jayden, Clayton, Abby, Kelsey, Kenlee and Mattie Leigh; and her cousin Lucy Royall of Sparta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
