We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 72, Roger Lee Brown of Independence, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Brown and Virginia Delp Brown. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Brown; his son Brady (Kelly Brown); his stepson Devin (Ashley Phipps); his siblings, Larry (Joan Brown) and Kathy (Meredith Roark); his grandson Maverick Brown; his stepgranddaughter Lilly Phipps; and his sister-in-law Bonnie (Richard Barker). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348).
