It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee Roberts of Independence, Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Roberts and Katherine Bourne Roberts; and his brothers, James Lawrence Roberts and Billie Joe Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Stuart Roberts; his son Lee of Independence, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Carrie Roberts of Independence, Virginia; his grandchildren, Angela (Cody Hawks), April (Mitchell Benton) and Katelynn Roberts; his great grandchild Hunter Isom; his grandchildren, Gracie Hawks and Grayson Hawks; and his siblings, Brenda (Lennie Wingler), Mary Elizabeth Melton of Independence, Virginia and Teddie Joe Roberts of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; several special friends and neighbors.
