It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susanne Marie Nolan of Independence, Virginia, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Joseph and Alma Jean Dyer Nolan; and her aunt Ruth Terry. She is survived by : her children, Desire (Dan Shupe), Joseph (Tina Shupe) and Kaleigh Landaeta of Florida; her sisters, Jeannie Nolan of Independence, Virginia and Sandra Nolan of Independence, Virginia; her niece Cannette (Durand Nester) of Independence, Virginia; her nephew Thomas (Sanova Nolan) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Cadence Shupe, Michael Marchetti, Melody Marchetti and Iliana Shupe; her close friends, Natasha Hawks and Destiny Hawks; and her pet Zilla. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
