He was predeceased by: his parents, Waltrude Slusher and Emma Hill Slusher. He is survived by: his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Brad James of Max Meadows, Virginia; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Alva Slusher of Riner, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several other family members and special friends.
