He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Ann Lawson Pierce; and his son Jason Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Pierce of Ivanhoe, Virginia; his daughters, Brittany (Jamie Linkous) and Heather (Brad Funk); his father Earl Dean Pierce of Fries, Virginia; and his brothers, Julian Pierce and Earl Jr. (Traci Pierce). He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-children; eleven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
