He is survived by: his daughter Connie H. Thompson of Southport, NC; his grandsons, Todd Allan Zimmerman (Monica) of Chesterfield, VA and Jake Aaron Zimmerman of Bakersfield, CA; his great grandchildren, Harper and Riley of Chesterfield, VA; his stepchildren, Greg Venema (Meredith) of LeClaire, Iowa and Robin V. Fraser of Richmond, VA.; his son-in-law William Zimmerman; and his sister Melissa Jackson of Fredericksburg.
