He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Monk" Rideout and Blanche Bain Rideout. He is survived by: his wife Page Perkins Rideout; his children, Jay Rideout (Diane) and Amy McDaniel (Rob); his grandchildren, Nathan Rideout, Shelby Rideout, Caitlin McDaniel and Gabriel McDaniel; and his siblings, Betty Cooke Harrison (Tommy) and B. Rideout (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
