It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Bradley of Jarratt, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William R. Bradley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bradley and Cliffie Bradley; and his brothers, Cola E. Bradley and George T. Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Overby Bradley; and his sisters, Nellie B. Rawlings, Anne B. Griffin, Betty B. Gordon and Martha E. Bradley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (303 S Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA 23867). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Greensville Memorial Cemetery (1250 Skippers Rd, Emporia, VA 23847).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lebanon United Methodist Church, 10053 Lebanon Church Rd, Jarratt, Virginia 23867.
