She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moses Fitzgerald and Lucille Robertson Fitzgerald; her siblings, Willie "Bug" Fitzgerald and Josephine "Cookie" Miller; and her nephew Bryson E. Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dianne, Sandra Fitzgerald, Evelyn Miller of Java, Carolyn F. Mallory (Verneal) of Riverdale, Tammy A. Fitzgerald of Upper Marlboro and Jerome Fitzgerald of Danville, Virginia; her siblings-in-law, Debra B. Fitzgerald of Dry Fork, Pamela Nichols of Danville, Virginia and Samuel Miller of Java, Virginia; her siblings' children, Whitney Fitzgerald, Briana Spratley (Tyquan), Catrice Callands, Sydney Snow, Ricky Miller, Justin Fitzgerald (Chrissy), John Fitzgerald (JT) and Joshua Miller; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amiyah Glass, Janayah Davis, Ahmod Glass, Zachary and Zayden Spratley; and her children, Lynwood Pope (Vel), Octavia Ingram, Kylah, Robin and Trista. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church (857 Java Rd, Java, VA 24565). A burial was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at the Highland Burial Park (3059 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
