We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jane Albus Hillyard of Java, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jane Albus shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jane Albus farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cornelius Albus and Catherine Cecelia Belt; her husband William Hillyard; and her siblings, Margaret French and William Albus.
She is survived by: her children, Jennie Blankenship (Jerry), Elizabeth White (Nelson) and Paul Hillyard (Suzette). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 540 Central Blvd., Danville, VA 24541.
