He was predeceased by : his parents, Darwin Shafer and Patricia Shafer. He is survived by : his wife Audrey; his children, Catherin Krezic (Denis) and William Shafer (Valine); his granddaughter Mia Leila; and his siblings, Eric Shafer (Melissa) and Teresa Simon (Joseph). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Little Fork Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Rixeyville, Va or Jeffersonton United Methodist Church, Jeffersonton, Va.
