It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ada Travis of Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Hounshell and Rebecca Hounshell; and her siblings, Olin "Dee" (Juanita), Jody (Gaynell), Ruth, Osa (Alfred) and Josie (Worley).

She is survived by : her husband Jim Travis; her stepsons, Wayde Travis (Margi) and Boyd Travis (Robin); her stepgranddaughters, Sarah Travis Phillips (Matt) and Faith Travis; her stepgreat-grandsons, Maverick, Easton and Elijah; and her nieces and nephews, Betty, Wayne (Pam), Brenda (Pete), Barb (Howard), Jerry (Lynn) and Ronnie.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Ada's name to Friendship Baptist Church 28970 Wilderness Road Jonesville, VA. 24263.
