With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonathan Fredrick Carroll of Jonesville, Virginia, born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by : his daughter Joyce Watts Carroll; his father John T. Carroll; and his grandparents, Cecil, Lyda Carroll, Corbitt and Alma Huff.

He is survived by : his children, Jesse Carroll (Nikki) of Dryden and Elizabeth Young (Duey) of Jonesville; his granddaughter Aubrey Carroll; his mother Judy Williams of Pennington Gap; and his sisters, Sheri Hurst (Richard) of Knoxville, Melissa Page (Michael) of Winchester, VA and Gwen Hammer (Mike) of Staunton, VA.
