He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Jones Newby and Dorothy Riddle Newby. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia McDowell Newby; his children, Chad Newby and Brandi Newby Cousins (Jeremy); his stepson Brad Barker; his granddaughter Jaci Cousins; and his siblings, Mike Newby, Eva Hodnett, Martha Osborne and Teresa Walker.
